This is a genuine British military body armor vest.
I bought it as deadstock out of curiosity, but I've never had a chance to wear it, so I'm selling it.
The fabric is still stiff and the velcro is strong, so you can use it extensively from now on.
It's great for airsoft games, but I think it could surprisingly also be used as a fishing vest.

In the British military, this is called the ECBA.
ECBA stands for Enhanced Combat Body Armour (British English spelling), and it was adopted for the entire British military in the early 1990s, replacing the previous flak vests such as the M1952 and M1969. Later, in the 2000s, the new OSPREY series was adopted, but the ECBA continued to be used due to its lower cost compared to the OSPREY series, and models in the new camouflage pattern, MTP (Multi-Terrain Pattern), also appeared in the 2000s-2010s. The navy blue model continues to be widely used by the British Royal Navy today.
The front and pockets open and close with velcro, and the width can be adjusted with velcro on both sides. The pockets were used for inserting bulletproof plates, so they are large capacity with wide openings and very easy to use. The zipper inside the vest was used for inserting stab-proof/slash-proof soft armor. There is also an epaulet on the chest for attaching tabs such as rank insignia.
