This is a very lovely Nagoya obi featuring a design of butterflies and soap bubble-like circles. It has a slightly retro feel and is a wonderful obi. The front pattern is: One side has butterflies, circles, and swirls. The other side has no butterflies. I believe the material is silk. I think it's shioze (a type of silk crepe), but I apologize if I'm mistaken. The photos may appear a bit redder than the actual color. The impression is a deep vermillion. Please view the close-up photos to see the texture of the fabric. The green of the butterflies is matcha green, and the gold in the outlines and wings is elegant. This obi seems soft and easy to tie.
