Vintage Needlepoint Tapestry French Country Fishing River Cottage Landscape 27x1

Description
Beautiful vintage needlepoint tapestry depicting an idyllic European/French country landscape with a peaceful fishing scene. The central figure, dressed in a vibrant pink top, stands fishing from a small rowboat on a tranquil river. The water reflects soft blues, creams, greens, and golden tones, while charming terracotta-roof cottages sit among rolling hills in the distance. Large mature trees frame the scene, creating wonderful depth and giving the piece the appearance of a traditional European landscape painting rendered in needlework. The piece features dense, uniform stitching with a richly textured surface and an especially attractive vintage color palette of forest green, olive, sky blue, cream, ochre, yellow, brown, and coral-pink. Approximate measurements: 27” wide x 18” high, as shown in the measurement photographs. This would be beautiful: * Professionally framed as vintage textile wall art * Displayed in French Country, Cottagecore, European or traditional décor * Made into a large decorative statement pillow * Added to a collection of vintage needlepoint or textile art
