Vintage Red Wing Pottery Village Green 2-quart round covered casserole, featuring the distinctive mid-century combination of a rich glossy dark brown glazed body with contrasting aqua/celadon green domed lid.  The casserole is marked “RED WING USA” on the underside and displays the beautiful concentric pottery rings and warm brown glaze associated with Red Wing's classic American dinnerware and ovenware.  Measures approximately 10.25 in diameter x 3 high without lid and weighs approximately 3 lb 11 oz.  Condition: Good vintage condition with age-related wear. There is a visible chip/loss along the outer rim of the casserole, shown clearly in photos. The lid knob displays crazing, discoloration and surface wear consistent with age and use.
