This is a listing for a used, working Technics reel-to-reel tape deck RS-1500U.

This is a listing for a used, working Technics open reel deck RS-1500U. It has been stored in a warehouse and has some dirt, scuffs, and rust on the metal parts, but no severe dirt or dents. Recording, playback, and other functions have been confirmed. It was previously repaired and all functions were working, but now the speed seems to be slightly fast. Tapes recorded at normal speed can be played back and adjusted manually up to 9.5 ips, but at 19 and 38 ips, the speed is too fast to be fully adjusted. The audio sounds slightly fast.

Therefore, we are offering this to those who can adjust and repair it themselves, those who plan to send it for repair, those who need parts, or those who are okay with the current operation. The item is old and subject to age-related deterioration. We cannot guarantee its continued operation. Please understand and agree to this before purchasing. If you have any questions, please ask before purchasing. An instruction manual (copy) is included.
