This is a container that can divide a larger Medaka (Japanese Killifish) tank, larger than the standard Wakepuka.
Since it is a divided container with a mesh, it can share water with the larger tank it is placed in.
By sharing water with the larger tank, you can maintain a stable breeding environment, including water quality and temperature, allowing you to house Medaka of different sizes or breeds in different stages of growth within the same tank.

It can also be used as a hatching container, allowing you to raise fry from hatching in a container color suitable for their breed.


Black: For breeds where you want to enhance coloration.
White: For breeds where you want to promote external light.
Blue: For breeds where you want to enhance glittery scales.
Green: For ornamental purposes to beautifully showcase Medaka.
Gray: A versatile type that is strong for both coloration and external light.


- When touching the tank or water, please unplug all electrical equipment before proceeding.
- Never use chemicals or detergents when cleaning this product.
- If you use chemicals containing pigments, the color may transfer to the product and become permanent.
- If the mesh tears, breaks, or deforms, discontinue use immediately.
- If the container becomes tilted, adjust the position of the float to balance it.


- We will check for scratches during shipping, but items with minor scratches that do not affect usability will be shipped as is.
- The Wakepuka will be wrapped in bubble wrap and shipped in a box. As this is simple packaging, the bubble wrap and box may be reused.
- When opening the package, please be careful as using sharp objects like cutters may scratch the Wakepuka. Also, please be careful not to cut your hands on the cardboard box when opening.
- Since there is no Yamato Transport service point nearby, we will use the Sumari Box available at a nearby convenience store.
