Ant Farm Case [Sand] with Feeding Area (Mini) [Ant Nest]

Ant Farm Kit with Sand
Why not try ant keeping as a hobby for adults, or for children's independent research projects?
Recommended for observing nest building and for keeping staghorn ants!

??Features??
Ant observation kit using sand.
The included feeding area can be attached to the top, making it possible to keep colonies with a queen ant for extended periods.
It's fascinating to watch the worker ants dig and build their nests.
The shape of the nest will vary depending on the ant species and the number of worker ants.
We recommend keeping medium to large species such as Formica japonica or Camponotus obscuripes.
Staghorn ants can also be kept very well.

This observation kit allows you to closely observe the ant nest building process underground, which is usually hidden from view.
The observation period is from around May, when nest building becomes active, until autumn.
Simple ecological experiments can also be conducted, making it useful for summer break independent research.
