Sasanishiki Brown Rice 24kg 2025 Harvest Pesticide-Free Chemical Fertilizer-Free
158.40 $
Description
This Sasanishiki rice from Miyagi Prefecture, grown without pesticides or chemical fertilizers, is a rare find that seldom appears on the market.
Eating Sasanishiki offers many benefits:
- It's light and won't bore your palate.
- It helps to slow down blood sugar spikes.
- It remains delicious even when cold.
This particular Sasanishiki contains more aoki (green grains) than usual. We harvest slightly earlier to ensure the inclusion of aoki.
- Aoki (Green Grains):
Contains twice the GABA (relaxing component) of sprouted brown rice, is rich in chlorophyll, and has more than double the amount of germ!
Of course, the taste is also significantly improved!
As it's grown without pesticides, it also avoids neonicotinoid pesticides, which are currently a concern.
Therefore,
* A certain number of black-spotted grains are included. They are safe to eat.
Please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned.
Normally, pesticides are applied uniformly using helicopters, but my fields have not used them for many years!
These fields are cultivated using self-collected seeds and seedlings, without any pesticides, insecticides, or fungicides.
Weeds are removed mechanically (using the Amenbo-go machine) and by hand.
This is practically strength training!
For fertilizer, we use only valuable organic fertilizers made from fish extract and rice bran: Bio-no Yuki S and Bio-no Yuki Ekitan.
Since it's applied as food for microorganisms, we use about 1/5 the amount of typical organic fertilizer.
