A very rare item manufactured before the war by Toyo Toki Kaisha. Currently, a single cup costs over ￥5000.
It was treasured by my grandmother and displayed in a glass case.
I believe it's from the early Showa period. It's a small size, just slightly larger than a demitasse cup, and very thin and light, so you can feel its wonderful texture when you hold it.
Coffee tastes even better with it ?
The pattern was modern for its time, and I think those who like Scandinavian tableware will also appreciate it.
The sugar pot can be used on a table to display flowers, or perhaps for pickled plums or other pickles. It can also be used as a candy pot or for supplements.
I hope it will be passed on to someone who will cherish it.
